 SUPERVISION

Specialist Support for Complex Presentations Including PDA and Parenting with Disability

At Mojo Mentoring, clinical supervision is not just reflective—it’s a vital safeguard for ethical practice, a space to think clearly, and a practical strategy to sustain you in high-complexity roles.

Led by Judy Drechsler, a Developmental Educator and recognised PDA specialist, our supervision is grounded, realistic, and informed by nearly 30 years of direct experience across disability, psychosocial recovery, child protection, and mental health. Judy brings a deep understanding of Pathological Demand Avoidance, trauma, family systems, and the realities of frontline practice.

She also brings extensive expertise in supporting professionals who work with parents with intellectual disability and/or autism—helping practitioners navigate the complex overlap between NDIS, child protection, guardianship, and family preservation frameworks.

Supervision is ideal for professionals working with:

  • Clients with PDA and complex Autism/ADHD profiles

  • Parents with disability, including those involved with DCP, legal systems, or forensic services

  • Families with intergenerational trauma, substance dependence, or system avoidance

  • Complex Functional Capacity Assessments, report writing, and ethical decision-making

Available across Australia via Zoom, our supervision supports Developmental Educators, Support Coordinators, and allied health professionals to stay clinically grounded, emotionally protected, and professionally confident—no matter how complex the caseload.
