Hi, I'm Jo

I am Jo Wardle, a dedicated Developmental Educator and the proud mother of two children with special needs.

 

Drawing from my personal experiences as an autistic individual with ADHD, I bring a unique perspective to my work.

With over two decades of experience as a former school teacher, I am guided by a commitment to fostering authentic inclusion within the disability community. This drive led me to pursue a Master of Disability Policy and Practice, solidifying my dedication to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities.

Since entering the disability sector in late 2019 as a Disability Support Worker, I have continued to serve in this capacity alongside my role as a Developmental Educator. Through these positions, I am privileged to advocate for and support individuals and their families, as they navigate their own unique journeys.

Above all, I am passionate about empowering individuals to recognise and exceed their potential, guiding them towards achieving their goals.
